banking institution "banking institution" means any bank, finance company or merchant bank licensed under the Banking and financial Institutions Act 1989 [Act 372], any Islamic bank licensed under the Islamic Banking Act 1983 [Act 276] or any development financial institution prescribed under the Development financial Institutions Act 2002 [Act 618];
